要匯出 exlinks 小工具，請點選 "下載" 按鈕，並儲存下載的檔案，前往目標 Wiki 的 Special:Import 並將其上傳。然後將下列文字新增到 MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition 頁面： 

* exlinks[ResourceLoader]|exlinks.js

您必須擁有目標 Wiki 的適當權限 (包括編輯系統訊息的權限) ，且須開啟透過檔案上傳匯入的功能。
